Hawaii@FriendsTravel.com 24/7/365

Visitors to Hawaii can take advantage of a new series of Wellness Weekends offered by

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maui, which are scheduled throughout the year.

These experiences will include group discussions as well as opportunities for one-on-one sessions with noted practitioners. Programs will deal with alternative and complementary healthcare, Reiki, Pilates, building relationships, personal and spiritual growth, holistic health, devotional yoga and phototherapy, and the process of restoring and enhancing vision naturally.

The next upcoming weekend is titled The Road to Optimal Health, April 21-23, and will feature Mark Emerson, a chiropractic physician who specializes in clinical nutrition and natural treatment methods. He will discuss ways to live healthier and enjoy lasting health benefits without the use of toxic and potentially dangerous medications. He will also address how to prevent heart disease, lower cholesterol and reduce high blood pressure.

Wellness series group discussion events are open and free to hotel guests.

The 2011 schedule will include:

Nutrition, Sports Injury and Chiropractic Care, with Dr. Mark Emerson, April 21-23;

Live Blood Cell Morphology, with Dr. Ward Joiner and Brandy Gillmore, May 5-7;

Greening Your Family’s Routine, with Stacey Malkan, July 28-30;

Full Moon Labyrinth Walk, with Eve Eschner Hogan, August 12;

Pilates, with Mari Winsor, August 16-20.

Additional sessions are being planned for September through December.
